This workshop is part of the Co-operative Islington project & funded by Islington Council.
The foundation of any working co-operative is a team. Finding and recruiting active and productive team members is an important skill. Retaining and empowering team members to flourish in a co-operative is a complex task. This one-day training course will help participants to develop a strategy to find and recruit team members as well as practice the skills required to retain and strengthen a core cooperative team.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course participants will:
Have a strategy to search for and recruit active members of your team
Appreciate team skills and dynamics
Identify and develop personal skills to become a more effective team member
Establish effective team processes
Improve team communication
Demonstrate team strengthening skills
This workshop is part of the Co-operative Islington project & funded by Islington Council. Douglas Racionzer, who will be facilitating the workshop, is a social entrepreneur with a personal imperative to engage communities to dream and flourish, organising with them and empowering their lives. He has years of experience working with economic development programmes and is currently working as a community development manager on Gillett Square in Hackney.
