Discover what computer hacking is really about by learning how hackers operate, what techniques they use and how to protect yourself from their malicious activities.

Anyone who uses a computer connected to the Internet is susceptible to the threats that computer hackers and online predators pose. These online villains typically use phishing scams, spam email or instant messages and bogus websites to deliver dangerous malware to your computer and compromise your computer security.

Let’s dispel the myths surrounding hacking, but also shed some light on the lesser known ways intruders use to break into systems and computers.

Workshop brought to you by Maciej Baron who is a lead developer at Good Praxis (https://goodpraxis.coop/). He has been interested in software engineering for as long as he remembers – tinkering, building and experimenting since he was a young boy. Having worked on projects for big companies like Google and Sony, he now shares his experience and learnings to explain the inner-workings of computers and software.
