I joined Space4 in February this year, on the recommendation of a friend and colleague. I was looking for an afforable co-working space, and ended up getting a whole community and set of friends with it.

I’m a journalist reporting on tech and digital media trends, so it has invaluable to be around people working in the tech sector, but also around more conscientious tech workers – which helps me think more deeply about what good tech can look like when I report.

The space has helped me meet people in other sectors too, including creatives and researchers I love to speak and learn from; since I do multimedia journalism.

I have also gained friends, who I socialise with outside the workplace now, going to gigs and events, which really has enriched my cultural experience of living in London so much more!

The space and people running it have always been so welcoming, and I am continually amazed by how truly resourceful, supportive and generous the community is.

It never has felt like I just am just a desk user, rather part of a grand, happy community. It is a place I really enjoy being in, so much so that I have recommended it several people who have also joined and love it as much as I do!
