SPACE4 is more than a coworking space. Users are actively encouraged to participate and contribute their skills and time to making the space socially valuable and relevant. Our community shapes how the project should operate now and in the future, by participating in governance meetings in inputting to our strategy.

SPACE4 proactively seeks to generate paid work for our members via our networks, and to support each business in the space to grow sustainably.

Where possible, we host events that showcase our members’ work, so that they can network with relevant people.

We also listen to our users’ needs in terms of training and help to arrange workshops to plug our members’ skills gaps.

We also share our knowledge with other organisations who would like to know more about how to set up and run a socially and economically impactful workspace.

Our weekly Wednesday open lunches and wider programme provide opportunities for people to get to know each other, swap ideas, share skills and invite others in.

If you are interested in coming in for our weekly Wednesday lunches please drop us an email, we would love to show you around and talk about what we do here.

"Tech-inspired, warm and progressive. I attended an evening seminar once on French revolutionary socialism and graphic design, had a couple of free glasses of wine and learned about what cooperatives are."
